Juniors of Social Service is a
well-established and historic organization that has been of service to the
local community for almost 80 years. Our
diverse, entirely volunteer membership is made up of women from all walks of
life, each of whom brings her individual talents and skills to enrich the
Juniors program. Some of our Juniors are even daughters of former members!
Currently, Juniors is actively seeking dedicated women who would love to donate just a few hours of their time each month providing worthwhile assistance to a needy community right here in Los Angeles. Prospective members interested in learning more about our organization are invited to attend our annual New Member Tea in May where they can enjoy some light refreshments while talking to existing Juniors, as well as the Sisters, about Regis House.
Once elected, qualified candidates
first serve as Provisional Members
for a year, May to May, attending general membership meetings and volunteering their
time before becoming fully-fledged Active
Members of Juniors.
